A brand developed for a local sports club in Gothenburg. To showcase our level of dedication for purpose-driven brands.
We named our project after one of the most iconic one-liners ever delivered on screen by the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman: 'Let it Rain!' The name has the perfect ring to it and evokes a sense of passion, excitement, and a willingness to go all out.
Here's a sneak peek of what we've envisioned.
Before the sky was filled with commercial airplanes and long after the first Swedes came to America. This story draws inspiration from the legacy of Swedish ingenuity.
More specifically, in 1928, when the infamous shipping company from Gothenburg launched its cruise ship, the MS Kungsholm, and embarked on its maiden voyage from Gothenburg to New York. This was the same year that the NFL was reduced to 10 teams and the telephone line between Sweden and the USA was officially opened.

The abbreviation perfectly captures the essence of Gothenburg, especially since the soccer team, IFK Gothenburg had 4 players named Glen. Although this was in the 80s, the name is still associated with the city.

In 2019, the city decided to brand itself as "The best city when it rains". Since it rains every other day in Gothenburg, according to SMHI. Imagine a sea of yellow umbrellas and Sydväst's on the stands!

The anchor adds value to Gothenburg's brand as a symbol of steadfastness and hope, inspired by the city's local history of emigration to the USA during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
